About Tanya by Russ

Tanya split a good part of her childhood with family in Honduras and New Orleans, so she learned early on the importance of family. She loves connecting with friends and family, is an avid gardener, and loves a good research topic. A compassionate soul, she loves helping others, and has been so supportive with the boys’ at-home schooling during the pandemic. She’s never met a stranger nor cares when she sings off key.

After a career in banking that allowed Tanya to focus on consumer advocacy and financial literacy, she currently volunteers at the boys’ schools.

About Russ by Tanya

Russ was born in Iowa and grew up on a farm! Russ is the most generous, humble, intelligent, loving husband and father. His humor, wit, intelligence, empathy, love and loyalty define him. He is a prankster that enjoys pulling your leg with a straight face!

Russ received his Masters of Science from North Carolina State University and started his career as a scientist. While initially working on regenerative fuel cells he transitioned into a scientific sales role in the pharmaceutical industry and he has been in sales for a majority of his career.

After meeting on Match, we connected and defintely found our other half!

our lifestyle

Family game night

Our family life is a blending of culture and tradition. Russ grew up on a farm in the midwestern US, where family and culture alway centered around the holidays and food. As first generation Americans from Honduras, Tanya and her family believe in maintaining deep roots and family connections. We do lots of things as a family, either as a unit with the boys or with extended family that lives close by.
